The history of Kellner began in 1919 in Leipzig.
Georg Kellner (1898 - 1974), then a passionate builder of aeroplanes came to the idea of model planes. He founded a firm and became one of world-wide leading producers of model toys.
At the end of the 20's he invented a new flexible connection from rubber (the "jummi") and patented this. The Kellner Plug-in Figures were born.
